Ehren Posted April 7, 2015 at 02:35 AM Posted April 7, 2015 at 02:35 AM By default, IPS.Suite 4.x uses your website name as it's logo. To use an image instead, go to Admin Cpanel > Customization > Themes > Edit > Logos Next to Site Logo Image, upload your logo and press the Save button. If you wish to revert back to a basic text logo, go back to the Logos page, toggle the Remove custom site logo switch, and press Save. 5
Daifuku Posted August 2, 2016 at 08:22 PM Posted August 2, 2016 at 08:22 PM Hello, how do I remove the logo completely? I don't want to have a logo displayed there if possible. Greetings!

Haunted Posted September 12, 2016 at 03:33 PM Posted September 12, 2016 at 03:33 PM Hello, I have a custom logo image, but would like to redirect it back to the home page of my site. Is there a way to do this in the admin panel somewhere?

Haunted Posted September 13, 2016 at 12:22 AM Posted September 13, 2016 at 12:22 AM Thanks for the reply! Can you please tell me where (what directory of the FTP) that would be located? Currently the logo just redirects to the forums. I didn't install the forum, but it's a custom logo in the header, and I am having trouble locating the file.
Ehren Posted September 13, 2016 at 06:14 AM Author Posted September 13, 2016 at 06:14 AM It's done in your ACP, not via FTP ACP > Customization > Themes > Edit HTML and CSS > logo
Haunted Posted September 14, 2016 at 04:29 PM Posted September 14, 2016 at 04:29 PM Thanks, Ehren. I appreciate the help. I am not very savvy with these types of things. Can you please tell me which part of the editor I would find this? This is what I see in the "Logo" section: {{if \IPS\Theme::i()->logo['front']['url'] !== null }} {{$logo = \IPS\File::get( 'core_Theme', \IPS\Theme::i()->logo['front']['url'] )->url;}} <a href='{setting="base_url"}' id='elLogo' accesskey='1'><img src="{$logo}" alt='{setting="board_name" escape="true"}'></a> {{else}} <a href='{setting="base_url"}' id='elSiteTitle' accesskey='1'>{setting="board_name"}</a> {{endif}} Currently, the navigation is that clicking on the logo when the user is already at "www.websitename.com/forum" will just direct to "www.websitename.com/forum" which the "home" button already does in navigation menu. I would just like the logo to navigate back to "www.websitename.com" and am having trouble locating where to change this. Thanks in advance for any insight!
Ehren Posted September 14, 2016 at 10:48 PM Author Posted September 14, 2016 at 10:48 PM Change both instances of {setting="base_url"} to your new URL. There may be a setting which achieves the same effect but it may unintentionally modify other links on your site too.
Haunted Posted September 14, 2016 at 11:08 PM Posted September 14, 2016 at 11:08 PM Hmm. That seemed to add the url to the end. So it now shows as "www.website.com/forum/website.com"
Ehren Posted September 14, 2016 at 11:24 PM Author Posted September 14, 2016 at 11:24 PM Make sure you entered the entire URL, including http:// at the start.
Haunted Posted September 15, 2016 at 03:24 PM Posted September 15, 2016 at 03:24 PM That worked! Thanks so much!

There's already a tutorial for that Just remove the text from the "Text Logo" setting and it'll use your site name. Otherwise upload a logo under the "Logo" tab by reading this topic.

Ehren Posted January 8, 2017 at 01:33 AM Author Posted January 8, 2017 at 01:33 AM The image should be displayed if you've uploaded it via the Logo tab. Use the System > Support feature in your ACP to clear your cache and see if that helps.

Ehren Posted January 8, 2017 at 01:23 PM Author Posted January 8, 2017 at 01:23 PM Add the following to custom.css .ipsApp a.logo{ display: none; }
