You'll likely need to ask on the IPS forums. This site is usually reserved for themes - I'm not sure who is developing the shoutbox, or what it's status is

Shoutbox is being coded by Pete T at http://invisionfocus.com/.  However it appears his site is currently down.  He has pushed back the release again and again.  In addition, it will no longer be a free application/add on like it used to always be.  He has been going through some changes as well such as switching from IPS to phpBB, etc.  Really no clue on what the standing is.

We are currently using Chatbox by onlyMe https://invisionpower.com/files/file/7465-bim41-chatbox/?page=2&tab=reviews#review-9595.  It is very similar to Shoutbox and has some customization settings on the backend as well.  It's widget functionality also allows you to place it on whatever page(s) you want as well.

yep, chatbox is really nice.. Pete has been taking FOREVER to finish his and it doesn't even have that many features that chatbox has.

I lost all confidence in Pete's Shoutbox after several RCs, still with bugs galore, and I assume he's given up now. I switched to the Chatbox. It's a very simple solution, but also a very excellent one. it works flawlessly in conjunction with Ehren's themes.
