If the temp files are in use by Windows, you can't delete them. You can only delete temp files that are not currently in use. This is what the built in Windows disk cleaner does, so you should really only need to run that.

I cut right back on plugins after the 3.X series, as soon as the 4.X series launched. The marketplace is a great idea in theory, but in practice it causes constant issues when upgrading, requiring plugins to either be disabled (so what's the point in having them?) or holding back upgrades (which is not always possible due to security). I now only use the Chatbox by onlyME.

Just coming up on 10 years of using your themes. I've never used any other theme authors.

You should always upgrade the core software first, before third party items such as themes, apps and plugins.

Joined May 16, 2011... How time flies. What brought me here? Searching for themes, seeing how much "IPBForumSkins" stood out from the competition. I've never purchased a theme from elsewhere.

I'd like a smarter grid view than the default allows. Looking at the IPS home page, it's got too much wasted space because even in a category of 3 forums it insists on displaying in a 2x2 layout. It'd be great if it'd display a different layout depending on whether a category has one forum, an even number of forums or an odd number of forums. From: To: Obviously that's a very crude mock-up, but I'm sure you'll be able to either make it look superb or come up with a better solution to avoid that horrid empty space. Here's to 4.5 and some new flashy themes!

Are you logged into the same account on the forum as that used to purchase it? You could try logging out and back in again.

Hi Ehren, Great news on joining the team at IPS, here's hoping you'll make some decent changes there! I recently visited a site (I can't remember what it was) that allowed its users to toggle between a light mode and dark mode on a single theme. It meant that the overall experience was identical for users on light or dark themes, whereas right now to use a light theme on my site it's an entirely different look and experience. I'd love to see this make it into your themes. (A toggle-able light and dark version of Animate? Yes please!) I also think I read on the IPS forums that it's possible to have a theme pre-select the light or dark toggle of a theme based on the browsers own colour scheme (e.g. if a user runs their browser in a dark mode). I don't know how feasible that is, it's just what I recall having read.

I amended custom.css to: .ipsfocus_social.iconButtons a{ font-size: 0 !important; } That worked fine.

For what it's worth, I'm on 4.4.4 beta 1 and I've experienced no issues.

It's not blocked, you can continue to upgrade but it advisable to wait for Ehren to review and/or update his themes. It doesn't normally take long.

Today I broke 400 posts on this forum and realised it's been over 7 years since I became an IPSFocus customer, which at the time was called ipbforumskins. I started using IP.Board, as it was back then, when I decided the free and open source solutions weren't going to fit my needs. The second consideration after choosing the software was to suitably customise it, to suit my needs at the time. At the time I ran a successful gaming community, and opted for a theme called Infinite. It was a great skin with a built in colour picker, something I hadn't seen elsewhere at the time, and was easy to customise. When it wasn't easy, a quick post on this website made it easy. I subsequently created an astronomy forum too, and again opted for a skin from here. Animate was just perfect for my needs, and a quick modification later meant it looked like it was made for an astronomy forum, it just worked! My members absolutely loved it, and still do. I still use the very same skin today. Come IPS4, Infinite was sadly discontinued, but a new skin quickly took its place. Spectrum, a skin with cyclic colour changes based on the time of day, was chosen. Again, it was perfect, and the tutorials Ehren had proactively created on his website helped me customise it to my needs with minimal effort. I've also used the odd third party customisation in the years I've been a customer, and Ehren has never failed to give some advice on CSS changes needed to get things working together. I've never purchased a theme from elsewhere. The themes here are top notch and the support is top notch, it's everything I need in a theme provider to continue running my website with confidence.
