wohali Posted January 28, 2016 at 05:34 AM Posted January 28, 2016 at 05:34 AM Hi there, I'm comparing Animate vs. Carbon and have a few questions, as a number of features seem to be missing from Carbon. Specifically, can I do these things with Animate? Easily edit color scheme via theme settings (no manual CSS editing) Static website logo in header instead of HTML sitename + slogan Same as above, but without sacrificing the animated effect? Background picker / Background settings like in Carbon Global message like in Carbon Thanks for your help!
Solution Ehren Posted January 28, 2016 at 06:26 AM Solution Posted January 28, 2016 at 06:26 AM Hello, 1. Colors in all themes can be edited via the theme settings 2. All themes support a variety of logo options, including an image logo 3. Yes 4. All themes come with a background picker. It's just disabled in the demo version of Animate 5. All themes come with a global message. It's just disabled in the demo version of Animate Most themes support all of the features found on the "Theme features" page 1
wohali Posted January 28, 2016 at 06:29 AM Author Posted January 28, 2016 at 06:29 AM Thanks Ehren. You might want to update this page: http://www.ipsfocus.com/themes/animate/ as the list of features under Theme Features lacks everything I asked about. For comparison Carbon lists all of these features at: http://www.ipsfocus.com/themes/carbon/ I'm glad to hear it's just a cut & paste error on your shop page.

The features are already listed on that page, there just aren't screenshots of them 1
