Upgrading 4 skins general info

Just a general question I have modified a few pieces of CSS on my current version theme, do I just do an update skin or will I lost my modifications?

Hi Rob,

I believe modifications will be lost (the same as 3.x themes). I'm not sure of the best way to keep customizations, apart from keeping track of them as you make them, then reapplying them after the update.

If it is anything close to 3, it all depends on what modifications you make and where you make them on if they are kept. I have made some modifications on 4 (on stock theme) and they stayed through each update where some re-set to the default and had to be re-done.

Yeah I lost them but lucky its only a few edits everything is back to normal apart from the grid view bug on tablets (well at least iPad mini)
