New IPB Theme: Chameleon + 4.x update

Recommended Posts

I'm happy to announce the release of another new theme which will receive free updates for IPS.Suite 4.x, Chameleon.

Chameleon is an adaptive skin which uses semi-transparent "frosted glass" content boxes, allowing your background image to partially show through. This allows you to easily customize the genre of the theme by changing only the background image. The header collapses on-scroll like the Dispersion theme, and stays at the top of the screen for easy access.

For screenshots and a live demo, visit the Chameleon theme page. This new theme follows the new pricing structure for 4.x themes, and is priced at $30.00 with $10.00 renewal fee's every 6 months. If you purchase this theme for 3.x, you will receive a free upgrade for 4.x (assuming your subscription is still valid). Click the "Pricing Information" button on the skin page for more information. :) If you have purchased one of the existing "4.x themes", you'll also receive a $5.00 discount for any future skin orders (the discount will automatically be applied once the theme has been added to your cart).

The old Chameleon skin which was available for 3.x has been replaced with this new version, for those of you wondering.

Feedback for the current version and suggestions for the 4.x version are appreciated and welcomed as always! I plan on adding a background picker to the 4.x version, however it has not been included in the current 3.x version.

Honestly Ehren; this theme just seems like more of the same.

I'm still hoping for an original design that doesn't focus on either white, gray, or black for everything...

EDIT: I just realized this was mostly just an update to an existing skin, so disregard the above. Though still hoping for some more originality in future 4.0 skins.

Thanks for the feedback. As you mentioned, the skin is replacing an older skin which was white, so it makes sense to make this one white too ;) With that being said, neutral colours sell best. It's quite simple to edit the colours, so you're welcome to modify them once the skin is installed on your site. :)

As always, I really like... This is one of the skins I prefer most. This new design is just excellent and pleasant.
