nitt Posted September 7, 2012 at 09:15 AM Posted September 7, 2012 at 09:15 AM Hello I want to purchase the marble skin and have to ask the following questions: is it possible to customize the navigation bar like the Vanilla skin? is there a skin upgrade available if ipb releases a new version? in this case is the upgrade at no charge or do I have to pay a fee to upgrade the skin again? thank you.
Ehren Posted September 7, 2012 at 09:30 AM Posted September 7, 2012 at 09:30 AM Hi nitt, Are you referring to the breadcrumb navigation menu? It already hovers at the top of the page, if that's what you mean.. All skins will be upgraded to the latest version of IPB. At the moment, all customers who purchased skins for 3.0.x have received free upgrades. Major versions (where skins need to be recoded from scratch) may require a fee depending on the workload. Hope that helps!
nitt Posted September 7, 2012 at 09:39 AM Author Posted September 7, 2012 at 09:39 AM Hello Ehren actually I mean this but its not a big deal, if its not doable
Ehren Posted September 7, 2012 at 09:51 AM Posted September 7, 2012 at 09:51 AM Oh, you'd like to change the navigation so they become tabs? It's doable, if that's what you need. Just a matter of copying the css from #primary_nav from Vanilla and using it in Marble, with a few adjustments.. Out of curiosity, does the search text in the Marble skin display like that for you in the browser, or does it just look weird in the screenshot? The active navigation link (Forums) should also be blue, not green.
nitt Posted September 7, 2012 at 02:31 PM Author Posted September 7, 2012 at 02:31 PM No the color comes from google chrome, because I have made the scrrenshots with that browser otherwise its same color everywhere without the screenshots. great! if it is possible to change the navigation bar. I really prefer the tabs. thank you for the quick & professional customerservice
