Ehren Posted July 7, 2011 at 06:30 AM Posted July 7, 2011 at 06:30 AM If you use the Question/Answer feature on your forum to prevent bots from registering, what Question and Answer(s) do you use? I have one implemented at the moment, but some bots are still getting through..
Guest Posted July 7, 2011 at 10:13 AM Posted July 7, 2011 at 10:13 AM I had before captcha and get some spamers (bots), after that change to keycaptcha and never more get any spamers or bots. Also use Q&A challenge (what is 10x1=?, 10+10=?, 0-0=?, and some more ... ) regards bosss
venter360 Posted July 7, 2011 at 04:53 PM Posted July 7, 2011 at 04:53 PM I'd use something like: 5 pictures and it asks you to choose the one wih a picture of a cow for example.
Exile Posted July 8, 2011 at 04:14 AM Posted July 8, 2011 at 04:14 AM I'm currently just using the question: What is the name of our planet? It seems to work; however, I don't receive near the amount of traffic as this site.
Ehren Posted July 8, 2011 at 05:34 AM Author Posted July 8, 2011 at 05:34 AM Yeah, I'd like to have a question which isn't maths related (because that's still letting some bots through), and one which doesnt have the answer in the question. I originally used "Type the word 'human' into the box" but since "human" was part of the question, some still got through. The earth one is good. I've also seen things like "what color is the sky?". Maybe something like: If I have three apples and I eat one apple, how many apples do I have left?
Guest Posted July 8, 2011 at 10:15 PM Posted July 8, 2011 at 10:15 PM Maybe something like: If I have three apples and I eat one apple, how many apples do I have left? Answer should be " 3 " ..... two apples in hand and one in stomak.
ohn03s Posted July 28, 2011 at 08:52 AM Posted July 28, 2011 at 08:52 AM I use the following question: 1: Where do we focus ourselves on? This question has zero false positives to date
