Sleepy Rabite Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 (edited) Hi there! This goes against the nature of the skin, but is it possible to "lock down" the colour scheme for infinite so users can't change it? Or, if not, is it possible to specify what the default colour should be for the skin? Also, am I able to make modifications to the skin (e.g. background), or does that go against the license? Thanks for your help! Edited December 23, 2010 by Sleepy Rabite
nodle Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Hello Sleepy Rabite. To change the default color: To change the default color scheme for the Infinite skin, open ipbforumskins.js (which will be inside the /public/style_images/infinite/js/ folder) in your text editor and search for #5696c4Replace that with your own hex code. Save and upload. http://www.ipbforumskins.com/forums/index.php?/topic/2764-infinite-changing-default-color/ I believe Ehren doesn't mind you making changes to his skins as long as the copyright stays in place.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'll have to take your word for it for full contents of the link -- don't have access to that topic. But the change is simple enough. And I figured as much for the changes, but I'll wait for the official word (though I'll likely buy it anyways ).
Ehren Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Hello, The colour change feature can be removed easily, a default colour can be set, and you can modify the skin as much as you like. The background is very easy to change and can be done with one line in the CSS.

Well, I purchased, downloaded, and installed, and my users like it so much that they bullied me into buying Slate as well. Thank you!
