private_ale Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Hi, I'm curious about purchasing a PSD-to-IPB skin sometime within the next few weeks, I do however have a few questions: Will the skins work with IP.Chat? Is IP.Content supported yet? I know this was dismissed as unsupported a few months ago and I'm just curious about the current status. Are all PSD-to-IPB skins tableless and XHTML/CSS compliant? The FAQ states that skins cannot be transferred; does this also apply to PSD-to-IPB skins? Does the 'Skin Designed by ..' also apply to PSD-to-IPB skins? Thank you!
Ehren Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Hello, 1. Yes - the skins are compatible with the Chat if required. 2. I haven't had a great chance to play with IP.Content yet. The header/wrapper/footer can easily be used when making custom IP.Content pages by using the "Use IPB Template" option. I haven't modified the actual content area of IP.C pages yet - so at this stage I'll say that it won't be included by me (however the skin will be compatible if you're able to find someone who knows how to modify IP.C) 3. All skins are coded as efficiently as possible. They're tableless - except for the tables which are already in the default IPB skin (forum table, topic list, etc). However no tables are used for design elements (header, navigation, etc). 4. Not entirely sure what you mean - can you elaborate? 5. A copyright is added but can be modified to say "Skin coded by" instead of "Skin designed by". Copyright removal is also available for a small additional charge. Hope that helps!
Vicros Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I can modify IP.C to an extent, it all depends on what your looking for.
