sparklywater Posted August 24, 2010 at 08:36 AM Posted August 24, 2010 at 08:36 AM This is the clearest I could get the screenshots due to light reflections. I do see the black headers like in Opera, and some of the blue headers / shades don't seem to appear, just like in Opera. Also the text 'A Test Category' does not appear at all on my phone whereas I see on Opera there is a faint black outline around the letters. The black menu seems to be displaying okay (without the rotation effect).
Ehren Posted August 24, 2010 at 11:41 AM Author Posted August 24, 2010 at 11:41 AM Ok no worries - I can get those bugs fixed
sparklywater Posted August 25, 2010 at 07:39 AM Posted August 25, 2010 at 07:39 AM Okay, thanks. If you need any other screenshots let me know.
sparklywater Posted August 26, 2010 at 02:46 PM Posted August 26, 2010 at 02:46 PM I would like this skin in the Overlay blue colour
sparklywater Posted September 2, 2010 at 02:06 PM Posted September 2, 2010 at 02:06 PM I just tried the demo skin on my phone again and now it's all working well. All problems seem to be fixed. If you have time please try to produce a navy blue version like the Overlay blue skin.
momofone Posted September 19, 2010 at 06:40 PM Posted September 19, 2010 at 06:40 PM hello, If I replace the IPB mobile skin with one of these, will it still be auto-recognised like the IPB mobile skin? Also, if I keep the IPB mobile skin, what happens with recognition? Thanks.
Ehren Posted September 20, 2010 at 12:41 AM Author Posted September 20, 2010 at 12:41 AM Instructions are provided telling you how to install the skin correctly so mobile devices recognize it. You don't need to uninstall the default IPB skin.
buskopan Posted November 1, 2010 at 04:53 PM Posted November 1, 2010 at 04:53 PM I have ordered that skin a month ago. It is great skin. Thank you. But. After I upgraded my ip board to 313 the skin finished working. Do you have update for 3.1.3?
Steve H Posted November 1, 2010 at 07:16 PM Posted November 1, 2010 at 07:16 PM The updated skin will be in your download area. http://www.ipbforumskins.com/forums/index.php?/files/
DaitePiva Posted January 9, 2011 at 10:16 AM Posted January 9, 2011 at 10:16 AM Nice skin ) Does it work with IPB 2.3.5?
Ehren Posted January 9, 2011 at 10:46 AM Author Posted January 9, 2011 at 10:46 AM No, the skin is only compatible with IPB 3.1.x
DaitePiva Posted January 9, 2011 at 02:20 PM Posted January 9, 2011 at 02:20 PM No, the skin is only compatible with IPB 3.1.x Oh... so sad (Is there another light, clean skin for IPB 2.3 suitable for mobile devices? Thanks )
Ehren Posted January 9, 2011 at 11:40 PM Author Posted January 9, 2011 at 11:40 PM I don't believe there is, no.
surferboy Posted May 27, 2011 at 03:21 AM Posted May 27, 2011 at 03:21 AM Does the skin work with the default portal application? In other words, does it show as a choice on the grid, after it is tapped? Also, we have used the IPB documentation to launch the portal as the default landing instead of the forum. Given that we have done that, will the slate mobile skin launch there too? Thanks, Brian
Ehren Posted May 27, 2011 at 04:03 AM Author Posted May 27, 2011 at 04:03 AM Yeah, the slate skin supports the portal. It doesn't show the side column since there's not enough room, but it does show the featured posts. There isn't an icon for the Portal by default. I thought I added one, but guess not. It's not difficult to add one if you need one though. The skin will also work fine even if your portal is set as the homepage. Hope that helps.
