IP.Content and Demo (Overlay Apple)

I'm interested in starting my very first IPB powered forum, and you'll be happy to hear that your amazing skins are part of my reason for switching. I was wondering if I could have access to the live demo so I can see exactly how Apple Overlay looks when on a live site. I'd appreciate that very much.

Also, I was wondering if the skin is compatible with IP.Content as well. It isn't listed, so I just had to ask. If not, how much would you charge to make it compatible? I assume it's only minor changes, so I might even be able to figure it out by myself.

Thanks again, and I look forward to running an awesome site with that skin. :)

Hey,

Thanks a lot - glad you like the designs! :)

I'll send you a PM to my demo board so you can see the Overlay skin. I don't own IP.Content so I'm not entirely sure how the skins will work - but if there are any issues, I'll be happy to take a look and send through a quote if necessary.

Hope that helps! :)

I've recently tried integrating IP.Content with another customers design and it didn't go as planned. IP.Content works nicely on it's own, but once a forum skin is integrated, all sorts of issues popped up. I'm not sure if much thought was put into how designs should integrate with IP.C, but I definitely think there could be improvements.

Just wanted to let you know before you purchase.. As you previously mentioned, the skins don't list IP.Content as being one of the compatible addons - so at the moment I'll let you know they don't fully support it. I may look into this in the future, but at this stage integrating the designs seemed to cause many layout issues so I may wait for a later version to see if the integration improves.

Ok, thank you for that update. This site seems to have gotten it working, so it must be possible. I'm still sorting out the site name/domain, but when I am ready to purchase at least now I'll be prepared to do some code tweaking. Thanks again Ehren! :)

This makes me wonder if the skin could be more easily be converted to a Wordpress theme. Although I highly doubt that it would be simpler than adapting it for IP.Content, Wordpress does offer more features and is completely free.
