Perry Posted June 28, 2006 at 04:05 PM Posted June 28, 2006 at 04:05 PM Hello everyone. I'm just letting you know that I may not be availible for a few hours or a day or so. I am getting extremely tired of my slow running, space hogging laptop, so I have decided to wipe everything out and reinstall Windows. This will give me back my old, fast-running pc I miss. I am, hopefully getting everything, backing up all my neccessary files now, and will hopefully not miss anything. If something goes wrong, and I mess up my laptop, I will see you all around Christmas. No joke, though. Anyway, hopefully I will not lose any files. I'm just telling you this so you dont wonder where I will be, and I may not be able to help you people out much for a few days, while I "rebuild" my laptop. Thank you If you dont hear from me within two days, I'll see you all at Christmas. Bye for now Sincerely, Alex Perry
Flex Posted June 28, 2006 at 06:24 PM Posted June 28, 2006 at 06:24 PM Haha good luck wiping it, i feel my laptop is coming to its end also, Hope you dont loose any files and to see you quicker than next christmas. Only messing. Await your return
Perry Posted June 29, 2006 at 07:00 PM Author Posted June 29, 2006 at 07:00 PM Whew, I'm back. The only thing that didn't work is my Firefox backups, including my bookmarks, saved passwords and live update tabs and my network sharing(which is my fault because I forgot how to set it up:P). Without my network sharing enabled, all my files on my other PC are useless, because I cannot access them Hopefully I get that setup Anyway, I'm back now..
Flex Posted June 29, 2006 at 08:48 PM Posted June 29, 2006 at 08:48 PM Shame about the Firefox problem i did exact same lost some pretty handy handy URL's. But heh least your pc is fresh . Welcome back

Perry Posted June 29, 2006 at 11:53 PM Author Posted June 29, 2006 at 11:53 PM Thanks. I really want to get a new Mac G5, but those are expensive Want to buy me one Ghost?
Ehren Posted June 30, 2006 at 01:05 AM Posted June 30, 2006 at 01:05 AM Nope, not really....Do you want to get me one? I just want a good computer with the final version of Vista on it
Perry Posted July 2, 2006 at 12:21 AM Author Posted July 2, 2006 at 12:21 AM I just want a good computer with the final version of Vista on it smile.gif I wanted Vista, but i heard that it will be very space consuming because of the aero-glass style shell. But when Vista is released, ill bet Mac will let you dual boot it, just like you can now with XP. That's why I want a G5 - you can dual boot OSX and XP. When Vista comes out, like I said, Mac will probably let you dual boot OSX and Vista
