Ehren Posted March 24, 2010 at 05:37 AM Posted March 24, 2010 at 05:37 AM Hi everyone, A new skin, Chameleon, has just been released. The skin is a modern, semi-transparent design that can adapt to whatever background you add. A few examples can be seen below: Chameleon with default background Alternate background 1 Alternate background 2 Alternate background 3 Alternate background 4 These backgrounds are not included with the skin due to copyright/distribution reasons - and they're only used for demo purposes to show what can be done with the skin. The skin is on sale for $18.00 (down from $25.00) until March 31st, so if you're considering purchasing this design, get your hands on it quickly!
Steve H Posted March 24, 2010 at 01:28 PM Posted March 24, 2010 at 01:28 PM Very nice skin Ehren. $'s about to be sent for that and Baisik.
Brett B Posted March 30, 2010 at 11:40 PM Posted March 30, 2010 at 11:40 PM Would it be easy enough to edit the skin so that the breadcrumb bar was more standard and near the header instead of a floating bottom bar?
Ehren Posted March 30, 2010 at 11:42 PM Author Posted March 30, 2010 at 11:42 PM Yes, that can be done via a few css changes. 1
Brett B Posted March 30, 2010 at 11:54 PM Posted March 30, 2010 at 11:54 PM Great, thank you . Another question. There's a bit too much white for me. What would you suggest to change that? Maybe changing the maintitle color to a charcoal, having row/column cell colors alternate (white/light gray?), adding borders between columns, things like that? Are those all possible?
Ehren Posted March 30, 2010 at 11:56 PM Author Posted March 30, 2010 at 11:56 PM Changing the maintitle bar would involve css and image edits - but the other modifications (row backgrounds/borders) can be done easily via css.
Brett B Posted March 31, 2010 at 12:05 AM Posted March 31, 2010 at 12:05 AM How hard (or easy ) would it be to accomplish a maintitle change? Mind you I'm no expert skinner, as I'm sure you can tell.
Ehren Posted March 31, 2010 at 01:32 AM Author Posted March 31, 2010 at 01:32 AM To put it simply, it's not a difficult modification. 1
Brett B Posted March 31, 2010 at 04:39 AM Posted March 31, 2010 at 04:39 AM Thanks for the information
