Ehren Posted September 28, 2020 at 11:41 AM Posted September 28, 2020 at 11:41 AM Following a fairly significant rewrite, I'm happy to announce Elegant is now available for Invision Community 4.5. Elegant is a clean, minimal theme and includes a Color Picker which allows your members to choose their own colour scheme. Combined with the Background Picker, this theme offers huge flexibility for your members, allowing them to customize it to their exact requirements. For those interested in behind-the-scenes: The Color Picker in Elegant is now powered by the input[type="color"] element. This results in smooth performance and requires no javascript libraries - win, win! 3 2

Eduard Bogdanov Posted September 28, 2020 at 02:42 PM Posted September 28, 2020 at 02:42 PM Have you already added an updated theme to the marketplace? How long can it take before updates appear in the marketplace?

I'm not sure how long the approval process takes - it has varied quite significantly in the past. 1

Very nice, dude! I was able to get it up and running with my basic frontpage config in less than 2 minutes. I love the Customizer menu you added and appreciate the work you put into the rewrite! 1
suaymac Posted September 30, 2020 at 05:37 AM Posted September 30, 2020 at 05:37 AM So, here's the question - if I originally bought this theme directly from you, how do I updated from the integrated marketplace, without being charged $30 again?
suaymac Posted September 30, 2020 at 05:38 AM Posted September 30, 2020 at 05:38 AM Same question also applies to Novus, which I also bought directly from you, and not the marketplace. ... and, THANK YOU FOR UPDATING ELEGANT!

I'm not entirely sure what you mean.. Did you link your ipsfocus order with the marketplace or something?
suaymac Posted September 30, 2020 at 03:01 PM Posted September 30, 2020 at 03:01 PM How would I link my ipsfocus order with my marketplace account? That was m question, actually. I bought both themes from you directly, via ipsfocus. When I attempt to update via Marketplace, it wants me to buy it again, for $30. In fact, that is what happened with Elegant - Marketplace charged me another $30.
uA_Y_C_A Posted September 30, 2020 at 09:05 PM Posted September 30, 2020 at 09:05 PM Ehren can "Generate Purchase" on ips market it's not a problem.

If possible, I’d avoid “linking” your ipsfocus themes to the marketplace, unless you originally purchased them from there in the first place. The theme files in the Marketplace are identical to the ones from here, so you’ll still be getting the same theme, but none of your subscription payments would be transferred. Additionally, I think it’s against the Marketplace terms and conditions if I grant you access to a Marketplace file which you’ve purchased from this site.
Freddie M Posted October 1, 2020 at 09:04 PM Posted October 1, 2020 at 09:04 PM Not many left now, Ehren. I bet you'll be glad once you have finished all the framework for 4.5, just those individual updates then. You've done a great job. 1
300ZX Owners Club Posted October 4, 2020 at 08:01 PM Posted October 4, 2020 at 08:01 PM Is there a way to download this by not using the built in marketplace ? I have just upgraded to 4.5.3 and we have an issue connecting our marketplace login to our site so cant download the new version of the theme, I can login directly to the marketplace but it wont allow me to download from there and insists to use the new way which is broken.

Hi there, Welcome to ipsfocus. Direct downloads are offered on this site, but if you've purchased it from the Marketplace, the only option is to use the built-in installer. If you can send me a PM with your Invision username, I can send you the latest version in a zip file - however it may be best to report the Marketplace bug if you haven't already, just so it can be fixed for the future.
