Will IPBForumSkins update there skins for IPB 3.0.0? I need to know if i am going to invest on some skins.

Yes, all premade skins are going to be upgraded to IPB 3. Current clients will have to repurchase their skins for 3.0, however there will be a discount if they decide to upgrade

When you upgrade the skins are you going to make them look them look the exact same like 2.3 or are you going to update them a little bit like 3.0

They will include sections which look like 3.0 due to the new layout (such as the side column on the index page and "Logged in as:" area) but the skin will highly resemble its 2.3.x version.

Answered my question. I'm gonna be buying a premade skin and was wondering the about this. I was gonna buy one today, but since you'll be charging extra for the upgraded version i'll just wait until 3.0 goes gold and released - and then i'll buy an upgraded skin.

I assume you've been working with 3.0 through its beta stages, so it shouldn't take long for conversions, eh?

Thanks for letting me know. Is this version harder for you to skin? I imagine you have been messing around with the coding from beta releases so far.

I've been too busy to really take a good look at it unfortunately.. my first good look was a few days ago though. I'm still making up my mind whether I like 3.0's skinning system or not..
