When you purchase a skin, how long does that continue to get updates on? The main reason I ask this, is, when I.P. releases 3.0, will you update our skins for the big convert, or are we going to have to pay some hidden fee here? Ehren Posted June 10, 2008 Share Posted June 10, 2008 Hey, All skins for 2.3.x will have to be remade from scratch for IPB 3.0, so there will definately be upgrade fee's, but the price will be determined once IPB 3.0 has been released so I can get an idea of how much work is involved with converting. You'll get unlimited bug updates (in the event that a problem occurs due to the skin), but I can only assume IP upgrades such as 2.3.x to 3.0.x will be fairly intensive. Copyright fee's vary depending on the size of the site (larger sites can bring in more traffic, so the fee is a little larger than that of smaller sites), but usually ranges from $50 to $120.
