Arai Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Hello, I've submitted a ticket on SkinBox under the same email I've registered here with, so kindly take a look at that. I'm waiting on the Blood theme to be converted really because my board won't be in use until September probably. To purchase it now for IPB3x would be a waste as that software is 6 years old so I'd rather upgrade to the latest. However I can't find a theme that screams premium that matches what our clan forum is for, the only one that I find appealing is "Blood". So hopefully it will be re-done in the coming months, I'm looking forward to purchasing it. Full package including global copy-right removal and probably installation as well as I'm new to the IP software. Anyway I'd like to know if the template/psd file can be obtained (after purchase of course) for the Blood theme? And whether the top bottom on the main page (the grey circle with a white arrow pointing up) can be replaced with something else? I'd like to replace it with something that matches the game we'll be playing (I'm keen on tiny details, sorry). Also is the search box oval by default for IPS4, because it looks a bit weird/off on the Blood theme for IPB3x (would love if it's oval). That's all I guess, I just hope the theme gets upgraded ASAP so I can purchase a license from Invision and the theme from you guys.
Ehren Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Hello, I'm not too sure on the status of the Blood theme just yet. Other skinbox themes will eventually receive an upgrade though. Most of my themes are coded straight away rather than creating full .psd files. I usually just create an idea in my mind and go straight to the css/html, so psd files will only be available for specific resources (such as the logo). It's very simple to change small areas such as the "top" button (which doesn't actually exist in 4.x) and the search bar.
Arai Posted June 22, 2015 Author Posted June 22, 2015 Yeah sorry I should have clarified that, I was referring to the logo since I'd to replace the word Blood with my clan name and the faction it belongs to. Funny enough it's a red faction, hence why I want to buy that theme. So can you say for certain that the theme will be upgraded to IPS4 or too early to tell?
Ehren Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 The main reason it won't be upgraded (if I decide not to), is because there will be other themes which will be similar in design to it already. It's a little counter productive to have two themes which are very similar in design. Most of my themes can be customized easily within the ACP, so if you find a dark theme and want to add some red into it, it's not too difficult to do.

Understood Copyright removal can be purchased at any point. The initial price of themes is $30, with a $10 renewal price every 6 months to maintain access to support and updates.

If there's a fixed space for the banner/logo (e.g. 1920 x 280) and the image is say 1920 x 300 would it be cut off by design? Not sure how you pull it off with most of your themes, but I'm curious as to the specifications so I can relate that to the designer. http://i.imgur.com/7ULFL2W.png

Logo is being worked on as well as 3 backgrounds at 150 USD each, 70 USD for the logo so things are well under way. But Chameleon does not fit for what I have in mind or want, it lacks a lot of things that needs to be created from scratch probably. This is just day 1 concept art: http://i.imgur.com/w2P34xb.jpg But would it be possible to animate that (the background image would be the animation), the logo itself will contain a transparent background. So is it possible with that shape to create a animated logo/header?

Arai Posted July 24, 2015 Author Posted July 24, 2015 I was thinking something subtle, like a bit of mist (or sparkles like Animate). The question is can it be pulled off with that shape, looking at Animate theme I just noticed that it's 2 images. One "scrolling" to the right (foreground?) and the other is scrolling to the left (background) giving it a certain effect. Though since banner isn't flat/rectangle shape I'm not sure what's possible and how to have it designed.
