yoshiteru Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Customer Points To encourage customers to purchase more skins at a faster rate, I would suggest you have something like customer points that are redeemable as discounts on a purchase whether premade or custom. This could encourage people to buy more because of the cheaper price and still benefit those who want the cheaper price. Plus the added bonus for you, that you do not have a limited supply of a product so it will in no way harm your sales, but only improve them. Like maybe a certain percentage, maybe 1-10% of a purchase or somewhere around there can be used later on. And if enough skins are bought, they can get one skin free with their credit. Just an idea.
Ehren Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Once Nexus is released, I will try and set something like this up I'll make it so if your a customer and you buy another skin, then you could get a certain percentage off the original price
Perry Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Once Nexus is released Is Nexus a new skin you're working on? How about a preview
Ehren Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 No, Nexus is a shop addon for IPB. It will make it easier for us as it will be completely integratable with IPB. Read more about it here.
Perry Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 Oh, very nice. Are you going to purchase it Ghost? By the way, i feel dumb.
Ehren Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 Lol, don't feel dumb...although it did sound funny to me If it turns out to be what I'm looking for, then I'll probably buy it...depending on the price and the successfulness of this site
Perry Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 This website looks to be very successful. How many sales have you had so far, Gohst, on average? Any idea?
Ehren Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Were still building up, so it's a little hard to say how many we get on average Varies a lot
tomos Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Have you tried the "purchase it" mod? Its a full shop for IPB.
Ehren Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Yes, we were using it before the current store, lol. It's still in beta stages, so we have decided to scrap it and wait for Nexus
Perry Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I'm working on my own store mod now The only thing i need to learn is how to intergrate purchases and payment with paypal and credit cards
