Titan: Now available for Invision Community 5 

Titan is the ultimate gaming theme, based upon a large wallpaper image which is blurred behind textured navigation and category bars. Easily upload your own image via the resources area to completely change the colour scheme!

Titan has been coded from scratch for Invision Community v5 and introduces a brand new light mode which sits alongside the dark mode which v4 customers will be familiar with. Take a look at the demo and feel free to leave your feedback or suggestions below!

Then that's why the background picker is nowhere to be found.

 

Small problem that the dropdown menu is covered by the header row.

 

How can I change the icons before the topic titles on the main page?

Thanks @Pildi, the navigation issue has been fixed.

To change the folder icon, you can add this to your Custom CSS area. Change the content value to your preferred Font Awesome icon (click an icon and copy the value at the top right of the pop-up box)

Potentially at some point in a future update. I've added a prototype of the Background Picker to the Uniform theme, so I'd just need to adapt it for Titan.

OK, if there is no background picker we should still be able to modify the theme somewhere for a different background image correct?

Absolutely. The background image is very easy to edit - you just need to drag/drop your own image into the upload field in the ACP

Hope, Animate is the next. The only thing that prevents me from upgrading to 5 is the incompatibility of my current theme.

Is it possible to upload background images to the background picker in this theme? Are they pre-defined, like in the demo? What's the maximum number of images we can choose from if we can upload them ourselves? Best regards :)

Hi there,

Welcome to IPSFocus  

For the moment, the Titan theme has a single background image in v5 - so there's no Background Picker. You can easily replace the existing background by replacing it in your ACP (it's a simple upload field, so no coding is required).

Sounds great, tho i have a question for v5 Themes in general. Do they still have Mega Footers or no?

Nope, no mega footer is needed. Widgets can be dragged into the footer in v5

will deflection keep its selectable header image or is that also gone??
that litterally made my forum unique.. a bit scary of invision 5 now.
i hope that not too much changes of the forum design..
is their an demo with admin login to test v5 design changes?

The v5 demo board is restricted to guests just like the v4 board.

I wasn’t sure if Background Pickers were a thing of the past, so they intentionally haven’t been added to some of the v5 themes. Uniform has one so there’s nothing in v5 preventing them from working, I simply haven’t added them to every theme as I wasn’t sure how necessary they were these days  But that decision is very much open to feedback!
