Last Shift Theme Update?

Hello,

Currently, I'm on IPS 4.7.21 and running the IPS Shift 4.7.15 theme.

What is the last Shift theme version?

Soon, I'm planning to upgrade to IPS 5 and purchase the Illuminate theme, and I'm wondering till I do so if I should get the latest Shift theme to v4, or if I'm not missing too much and I can stay on 4.7.15

4.7.15 is the most recent version since no theme updates have been necessary since then  

Announcements are posted in the News area whenever themes need updating, but you have no reason to renew so you can safely focus on illuminate instead!

Is it possible to advise when Shift will be updated to support v5?

We have a medium sized/active community serving an older demographic, some off whom are more resistant to change. We would like to upgrade to v5 but wish to retain the look & feel as much as possible, but it's not easy to do this currently given Shift does not support v5.

I would also like to see Shift updated for v5.â

In my case, I don't need frontend color customization. I just like the layout with a 100% width header and footer, and boxed forums.

We are running a test version of v5 (100% recommend you do this before moving to v5 on your live site - we encountered a few serious issues that took several hours to resolve)

The good news is that the theme editor on v5 is VERY easy to use/intuitive, to the point that you can almost make it look similar to Shift by using the colour palete tool. If anything it gives a cleaner/more modern look while retaining the existing colour scheme. - Surprised I did not think of this sooner! Feel free to take a look -
