Themes Compatible with 4.6.10

Are the Themes, in particular Animate compatible with 4.6.10?

I upgraded yesterday without any issues.

Usernames in topic view were colored according to group format but not anymore ?

and activity streams had first image of a topic as preview is that gone too ?

Yep, all themes are compatible with 4.6.10

The topic view and activity stream are both unmodified in my themes. Are those same issues happening with your default theme?
