Carbon Red

I own carbon red, and I noticed in my download center it supports IPS V3.4 but there is a carbon skin on your store for 4.3, why wasn't carbon red upgraded? Do I have to purchase this other Carbon skin to even use it with the latest version of IPS?

Hello,

The 4.x version of Carbon can be recoloured easily using the theme settings. It's no longer necessary to maintain and sell 4 separate colours

A free upgrade from 3.x to 4.x was not offered, so the updated file will need to be repurchased.

Yeah...This is not the answer I was looking for.  Not really interested in purchasing the same theme twice.

I wish I could offer free lifetime support and upgrades for customers, however it simply isn't a viable business model. Themes were recoded from scratch for version 4 since the 3.x code wasn't compatible, so I'm sure you can quite easily understand the reason for the paid upgrade
