why do i have a $25 in the orders section? do i need to pay this to download the latest version of carbon?

The $25 invoice just seems to be an accidental one which you added back on March 5, 2016. 

You should be able to produce a $10 renewal invoice by visiting your Client Area.

i looked at the villan theme and i see a reactivate button there but not for carbon

I've added $20 credit to your account which will allow you to repurchase Carbon for $10 instead of $30.

Since the billing agreement was cancelled on Paypal, it's not possible to renew your existing invoice. But repurchasing will essentially result in the same outcome
