Ehren
Hi everyone! Following on from the last sneak peak (the new Background Picker), here's another sneak peak to show off a new feature in 4.5 - The Customizer. Yet to be officially named (feel free to post your suggestions below), the Customizer allows your members to customize your theme based on their own preference. Clicking the toggle icon in the user panel will open a modal box which contains the Background Picker and a list of toggle options. This list of settings will adapt based on which features you've enabled via the admin panel. If you've enabled the Countdown feature for example, a new item called "Show Countdown?" will appear in the Customizer allowing your members to hide the countdown if it doesn't apply to them. Each setting is saved as a cookie which persists across ipsfocus themes, so flipping the sidebar on one theme will flip it on all other ipsfocus themes too. If there are any settings which you'd like to see added to this list, make sure to post them below! 6 Send PM

Pages is possible but likely won't be enabled by default since there are so many customisable page templates. I can give instructions on how to enhance this feature once 4.5 has been released 1 Send PM
SC36DC
Would it be possible to add a "Change Color" option as well?

There are currently no plans to build a color picker into all themes. Some will have it such as Elegant, but others won’t. Sorry about that. 1 Send PM

uA_Y_C_A
I have a short question, maybe I did a wrong test. I uploaded the Uniform theme suitable for version 4.4 to the 4.5 beta 11 version Invision forum. I could not see the fixed width setting in the custom section of the theme setting. This is going to be the setting right?

Percentage page display is not good in my opinion, on large screens the high percentage is too big; If the percentage is chosen smaller, it remains small on all screens. If you aren’t a fan of it, simply keep it disabled or use a fixed width instead

Otherwise it is very difficult to read and write on the big screen. whatsapp web is an example of this, it has a limit.

If you need a maximum limit on the big screen, that’s exactly what fixed width does Fixed width occupies 100% of the screen width until a certain value is reached (such as 1400px). Fluid will occupy roughly 96% of the screen width, with no maximum limit. Hopefully that clears up any confusion
